PIKE ELECTRONIC participated as a platinum sponsor at the international conference TUCON2011 held on September 27 - 29 in Las Vegas, US. PIKE had the opportunity to present three topics in total: MakeDoc for TIBCO, AMF and tibbr. PIKE ELECTRONIC also had an opportunity to present itself at the conference as one of important TIBCO partners, nicely demonstrated by the engaging presentation of Josef Fischer Jr. about advantages brought by practical application of "tibbr".
The project MakeDoc (officially MakeDoc Documentation Product Development Framework) supported by grant from the OPPI- ICT and Strategic Services was rated as the best entrepreneurial project of 2010 in ICT and Strategic Services category.
The gala evening was held on 27 September in Kaiserštejnský palace in Prague where Minister of Industry and Trade, Mr. Martin Kocourek, under whose auspices the contest was held, and CEO of CzechInvest Miroslav Krizek handed awards to winners.
The outcome of competition was announced by CzechInvest Agency of Business Development and Investment and by the AFI - the Association for Foreign Investments in cooperation with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Czech republic.

Recently, PIKE attended the AISTech 2011 exhibition and conference held in Indiana Convention Center, Indianapolis, Indiana. The show was very succesfull. This yearś event had 5489 attendees, 413 exhibitors from 17 countries and about 18% of the exhibitors were international. During the exhibition were performed 85 technical sessions which makes it the largest technical program in the history of AIST. PIKE employees performed 5 technical sessions concerning topics Integrated Steelmaking Plant Process Automation and Optimization, An Advanced Control System of a Slab Reheating Furnace and Optimization, An Effective Interstand Cooling in Hot Strip Mill, A Monitor for Thermomechanical Rolling of Steel Plate, On-Line Quality Data Warehouse for Metallurgy. PIKE's stand visited more than 500 attendees from the large steel making community and is still receiving a lot of possitive feedback, so PIKE will definitely attend to the next year's exhibition held in Atlanta, Georgia.
