PIKE´s business strategy is to focus on Name Accounts, which means to focus on strategic partners and customers establishing strategic business partnership. Due this strategy, The Company has established a lot of long-time contracts. In foreign countries The Company participates on project as the Prime Partner for leadings market players in the field of machinery , metallurgy (e.g. Siemens, SMS DEMAG, ABB, Mitsubishi, etc.)and integration (TIBCO).

The Company world-wide participates on extensive projects cooperating with partners as Siemens AG (GER), Siemens E&A (USA), SMS DEMAG (GER), TIBCO Software Inc. (US), Hewlett-Packard (CZ), Accenture (CZ) and Oracle Czech (CZ). Those projects are realized in USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Germany, Holland, Finland, Russia, South Africa, China, Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia as well as in Czech Republic.

Main strategic target is specialization in “core business” areas, consolidation, effective distribution and use of long-term experiences and know-how in segments of Process Automation, Information Systems for Health Insurance Companies, Data Warehouses, Management Information Systems, Telecommunication, Banking, Enterprise Application Integration and Logistic. The Company is going to become a strategic partner or supplier for middle-term and long term projects in higher mentioned segments.

We specialize in following major branches:

Health Insurance – the large database applications for the health insurance companies in Czech Republic, covering receiving, billing and expensing parts, includes realization of the management information system and data warehouse. We are implementing strategic IS for VZP (General Health Insurance Company), which has 7.5 millions clients and database has the size of 10 TB. All information about client’s health care service costs is stored here. The ORACLE database and developing tools are used.

Process Automation – in the field of process automation PIKE offers more than 15 years of experiences that covers complex “turn key” solutions of information and control systems for metallurgical industry, food-processing industry, financial sector and telecommunications. It concerns analysis, design, development, implementation, commissioning and support. The scope of service is in the vertical way from base automation (PLC), trough control part (material tracking, computing setup values, and optimization of technological processes using neural networks) to planning part. The SCADA systems are using for the realization of HMI over all levels.

Business Intelligence – analysis, design, implementation and support for management information system (MIS) i.e. data-warehouse, data mining and ad-hoc query. The Oracle OLAP technology is used. The data-warehouses are relational or/and multidimensional. The Company invested to development of own technological products allowing the implementations of MIS solutions for various purposes, e.g. human resources, DRG - cost efficiency related with health care services, production and accounting.

Enterprise Application Integration - since year 2003 PIKE ELECTRONIC is TIBCO partner in the field of enterprise integration. The Company has 50 TIBCO educated and certified consultants with deep knowledge of TIBCO BusinessWorks, TIBCO Business Event, TIBCO Rendezvous, TIBCO Designer, TIBCO iProcess, TIBCO Hawk, SOAP, EMS, BPM. PIKE’s consultants work for customers as consultants, architects, administrators and operation maintenance. Besides TIBCO the Company PIKE cooperates with PRIMA SOLUTIONS the Company that provides SOA solution for health insurance companies.
