TIBCO Middleware platform

MakeDoc for TIBCO 3.5 provides four main services:

  • Project Documentation provides detailed and comprehensive information about an unlimited number of projects including a project's description, process details and diagrams, AE schemas, global variables, used archives, WSDL and XSD schemas and shared JMS, HTTP connections and XML Mapper activity.
  • Cross-Reference links the communication between destinations, projects and the usage of global variables. Cross-Reference by Destinations represents relationships between destinations and projects. They have two points of view:
    • Reference by destinations shows all projects and activities connected with the selected message destination. It helps during changing, deleting, or adding a new message destination, or tracking an existing one. All messages can be sorted according to message types as well.
    • Reference by projects shows all messages related to the specified project. This probably would be the first place you would visit when looking for a specific message.
  • Cross-Reference by Global Variables represents relationships between global variables and projects. They also have two points of view:
    • Reference by global variables shows all projects that use a selected global variable. Resources, across all included projects, which use this global variable can be seen in one hyperlinked matrix.
    • Reference by projects shows all global variables used by a selected project. It allows to analyzing the complete usage of global variables in a specified project and its parts, augmented by the number of references of these variables to highlight its importance.
  • Repository Analyst analyses the changes of different MakeDoc snapshots. Snapshots are generated with a time stamp which one can use to identify specific materials one wishes to compare. The Repository Analyst provides valuable information about modifications, changes and development progress of your projects. The analytical result outputs are generated into HTML or PDF formats.
  • Quality Assurance checks whether defined rules were followed in chosen projects and shows all occurences of violations of these rules. This feature can be expanded based on individual customer needs. For more information, please contact us at makedoc@makedoc.com www.pikeelectronic.com
